Most of the people are alone. So you are not "alone". That's not a bad news.. what is worst is BEING LONELY. That's really bad, random things cross your mind. Confusing look, blank, silence and SLOW REACTION (sounds like Koala Bear)... etc etc...
Think of it, being LONELY is worse than ALONE. ALONE to me is a TIME TO ENJOY MYSELF (Syiok Sendiri). :)
